The Life of a Rower

Purdue Rowers come to the rescue

(Left to right) Purdue Varsity Women Caitlin, Melinda, Emma and AJ pose in the parking lot of the Purdue Crew boathouse after evening practice on the Wabash River. These women were incredibly generous with their time and effort during the month of May and June to help me train for competition. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your help and friendship. I couldn't have done this without you.

Welcome to my online journey to the Paralympics!

Hello, my name is Emma Preuschl and this website was created to share my Paralympic experience. As a member of the US Adaptive Rowing team I will be competing in Beijing, China. It is a honor to be a part of the first paralympic rowing team and represent the United States. I owe a huge part of my success to my teammates and coaches at the Purdue Crew Club. I hope you enjoy this interpretation of my training and traveling this summer as I prepare for competition in September.
