Selection Camp-Day 1

Philadelphia, PA; St. Joseph University Boathouse
Today I flew into Philly and was received by Ryan Pawling, a coxswain for St. Joe's University. We headed to the Wa-Wa for a lunch snack and then made a home for myself at his parents home in Jenkintown, PA. They set me up with an extremely comfortable air mattress in the basement. We headed to the boathouse to rig the boat and go for a run. Frank, the rigger for the team, spent about 3 hours rigging the boat to perfection. We will be using a Kashper 4+ boat that is stern coxed. We have concept 2 oars. Each person has a special oar. Ryan and I went for a 30 minute jog totaling 3.5 miles. Dinner was peanut butter and jelly- yummy!

Hey!
I checked out your blog site. It looks great! I hope everything is going well in DC and Philly. I cannot wait for you to come home and tell me all about it.
