Sunday July 13
The temperatures today were in the upper 80’s and 90’s. I planned to go out at noon for a long steady bike ride to start to acclimate myself to the hot temperatures we might experience. After the ride I was soaked with sweat and ready for an ice cold drink of water. After fulfilling my urge to rehydrate I decided to cool off more efficiently in a the neighborhood pool. I met my sister Anna in the lap swim area. She quickly proceeded to educate me on the proper breast stroke technique. I was apparently doing it all wrong. After a few trips down the lane I got the hang of it with Anna, Michael and Cory as my lifeguards. Thanks kids for monitoring my swim safety.
